When is the fair

and what are the opening hours?

In the 2025–2026 season, the main Christmas Market in Warsaw will be held at Plac Defilad in front of the Palace of Culture and Science, from November 28, 2025 to January 1, 2026.


Opening hours:


  • From Monday to Thursday the market is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.,
  • Fridays and Saturdays 11:00 - 22:00,
  • and on Sundays 11:00 - 21:00.


On Christmas Eve (December 24), the market will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on the holiday days (December 25-26), the program is scheduled from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. On New Year's Eve, it will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on New Year's Day (January 1), the market will be open from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

What attractions

at the fair?

 Among the main attractions you will find over 100 wooden houses of exhibitors offering handicrafts, Christmas decorations, regional delicacies and gifts.


 For thrill-seekers, there's the largest Ferris wheel in Poland, a Venetian carousel, and a Christmas tree carousel, offering great fun for both children and adults.


 The fair stage will guarantee concerts, artistic performances, charity events and workshops, and each evening can bring something new and inspiring.


The aroma of mulled wine, baked delicacies, and spicy drinks wafts through the food court, where exhibitors serve hot beverages and regional specialties.



Additionally, visitors can enjoy an intimate cinema under the Christmas tree, with the atmosphere of Christmas illuminations, gingerbread popcorn and fur loungers. Screenings take place on Tuesdays (12:00 - films for children) and Saturdays (6:00 p.m. - films for adults), and the cinema zone opens an hour before the screening, so it is worth planning your visit in advance.
